Private Exam Centre in Cornwall
From the 2026 Summer Exam season, our centre will offer a local, accessible solution for families, eliminating the need for costly travel and overnight stays. Students can visit and familiarise themselves with the centre before their exams, ensuring they feel comfortable and confident on exam day.
With our support, more young people can achieve their goals, unlocking opportunities for their future success.
Improving Student Anxiety
Being able to travel to an exam centre will help reduce anxiety in candidate about to sit their exams and provide a better rate of success as they are less worried about reaching the exam centre on time and can focus on the exam they need to sit.
Wrap-around Care
The exam centre has extra facilities to support home educated students including home tutoring and tuition services directly at the centre for group tutoring and so students can become familiar with the facilities before their examinations.
GCSE and Functional Skills exams
Centrally located this exam centre is ideally situated in Bodmin for people to sit International GCSE, GCSE and Functional Skills exams as a private candidate as they have been home educated. Awarding Bodies we will be working with are AQA, OCR and Pearson Edexcel.
